I wanted to share this article I received today. Very interesting. I’ll keep dreaming of my wine cellar. In the meantime, I tend to buy “drink now” wines. Moving around as much as I have doesn’t allow for long term cellaring. Check it out…”What Makes a Great Cellar” by Gregory Dal Piaz via Snooth. http://tinyurl.com/22wz5fs
The beer home brewing bible has arrived! I figure, it’s wiser to start with beer than wine. Let’s face it…beer is ready faster. True, yes, but seriously, it’s a new hobby that I’m sharing with my husband. Winemaking will come in time. I’ve already put together some recipes that I thought would be both good and fairly easy. I’m looking forward to learning and getting to the point where experimentation can start. I suppose I should start with reading the book. Check out this link to the book at http://tinyurl.com/2bphqmv via http://www.northernbrewer.com/.
Getting geared up to start. So, where do I start? Good question. I’ve reached out to some friends who home brew. So far, book references, equipment, and recipe suggestions have been the focus. One word, as of now, KITS!
Patiently working. Please check back.
